Heating and Inspection Officer


Job description

Responsible to the Heating Audit & Inspection Manager for ensuring the NIHE achieves high standards in the delivery of its heating service contracts by carrying out audits and inspections of operational activities. This will include but not be limited to the installation, servicing, and maintenance of heating systems with regards to compliance with all legislative, statutory, contractual and internal policies and procedures in line with our vision and values.

Responsibilities

  • To ensure the NIHE achieves high standards in the delivery of its heating service contracts through audits and inspections of operational activities.
  • To support the Compliance Manager - Building Safety to deliver effective compliant heating services to the wider organisation and contribute to the development and implementation of the new building safety strategy and policy.
  • To take part in completing incident investigations and reports.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Hold the following: GAS - CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1 OIL - OFTEC 101
