Seaview House Private Nursing Home is a small, 22 bed, independent nursing home located overlooking Ballyholme Bay. We are looking for a Health Care Assistant (days and nights available) to join our team and would love to hear from you. Part time and full time hours available- flexible working times- no sponsorships available.

Responsibilities

• To support residents to achieve their best life in accordance with their care plans and wishes and to support and lead the care team in delivering best care in accordance with policies and best practice guidelines.
• To continually monitor residents’ mental status and cognitive abilities within the framework of their care plans, and report any concerns as immediately.
• To assist in the giving of direct care under the supervision of trained staff.
• Assist with patients’ hygiene needs e.g. washing/showering/bed-bathing and bathing.
• Assist patients to mobilize (walk/stand/transfer using aids if required).

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous care experience.
