Job description

ONE Cook is required for an immediate start at Lisgarel, Larne. This position is 30 hours per week, worked on a rota basis, which may include weekends. Typical working hours will be between 8am to 6pm. This is a Band 3 position, with the rate of pay being between £12.75 up to £21.55 per hour, depending on shifts worked. This is a temporary position for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals in line with set menus and dietary requirements.
• Ensuring food is prepared, cooked, and served to a high standard.
• Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.
• Receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues, as required.
• Assisting with additional catering duties to support the service.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience working with a catering setting.
• Willingness to complete an enhanced Access NI Check.
