Job description

Clarendon Medical is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join their team to provide a high quality venepuncture and blood sampling service, blood pressure, height and weight measurement and urine testing.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities will be varied and include general nursing tasks such as phlebotomy, urine analysis, ECGs, BP readings and patient health checks.
• You will also be expected to ensure all clinical rooms and equipment are fully stocked.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• The successful applicant will be required to have a NVQ Level 3 qualification and/or experience in phlebotomy.

Desirable Skills

• General practice experience is preferred but not essential as training will be offered

Further Information

Salary: £26,701 per annum, pro rata. NHS Pension Scheme. 20 to 25 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays. To apply email your CV to the employer.
