Job description

We are recruiting home care assistants to cover rotas in Rathfriland, Bally Holland and Hilltown. No training or qualifications are required as NWCare provides full training in their in-house training academy. No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. Responsibilities

• Care within the community.
• Personal care - washing/showering, dressing/undressing, oral hygiene, toileting/pad changing.
• Light meal preparation.
• Companionship.
• Leave all areas safe and tidy.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full UK driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
• Great communication skills.
• Able to promote and deliver person centred care.
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care.
• No qualifications or experience are necessary as full bespoke training will be provided.

Desirable Skills

• OCF Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care.
• Previous paid caring experience.
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care.

Further Information

Location - Rathfriland, Ballyholland, Hilltown. Newry. Work time: 7.00am to 2.30pm & 3.00pm to 6.30pm & 7.00pm to 11.00pm, days to be confirmed.
