Job description

We are recruiting for a Home Care Assistant for evening rotas.

Responsibilities

• Care within the community
• Personal care - washing/showering, oral hygiene, toileting
• Light meal preparation
• General tidy round leaving all areas clean and safe
• Companionship

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
• Communication skills
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
• Care about the community they live in

Desirable Skills

• QCF level 3 in H & SC
• Previous paid caring experience
