Sales Support Administrator


Job description

You will be responsible for supporting a sales representative in the administration of direct sales within O’Neills NI.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Sales Reps on customer account activity.
  • Liaise with Sales Administrators in the coordination of dispatching orders.
  • Process and allocate payments to customer accounts.
  • Assist Manager with Account Management & Sponsorship Contracts.
  • Maintain department records, including spreadsheets and databases that track sales and customers.
  • Research that supports the team, such as gathering information that could be useful to the sales team.
  • Liaise with administrative assistants from other departments.
  • Follow up on customer queries and complaints.
  • Assist with processing sales orders as and when required.
  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service at all times.
  • Participate in all job training and coaching.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procedures and enhance the customer service experience.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations at all times.
  • Ensure good working relations are maintained with colleagues at all times.
  • Ensure that absenteeism and tardiness are kept to a minimum.
  • Ensure that company policies are adhered to at all times within the department, this includes the Equal Opportunities Policy, Harassment Policy, Health and Safety Policy and Training Policy.
  • Any other reasonable duties requested.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • A minimum of 2 years work experience in an office environment, preferably production based.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong organisation skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure/in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of programs.
  • Advanced level of MS Excel knowledge and understanding.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Flexibility with working hours.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role.

Further Information

Salary: £12.25 per hour for first 13 weeks moving to a rate of £13.10 per hour.
