THE EMPLOYER IS: BALLINAMALARD UNITED FC Location: Ferney Park, Ballinamallard United FC The Sports Coach Assistant supports the club coaches in delivering effective training sessions, guiding players in developing skills, and ensuring a safe, positive training environment.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with the club coaches, both senior and junior coaches to advise on players and assist with the management of the coaches. The person would be responsible to the 1st team Club Coach.
• May also require assistance with coaching in local schools.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of football skills.
• Positive oral communication skills.
• Proficient in use of computer and iPad.
• Knowledge of Office Suite, or similar programme.

Desirable Skills

• Introduction to Grassroots Football coaching: An e-learning course designed for beginners, parents, and volunteers working with children aged 5-12.
• UEFA Grassroots Leaders Award: Introductory award focused on grassroots football.
• National Coaching Certificate (NCC): Replaced the old "Level 1" course. It prepares coaches to facilitate sessions in the grassroots game.
• NCC - Youth/Futsal/Goalkeeping: Specialized, assessed certificates for specific areas of the game.
