Job description

Our Property Security Warden will ensure the safety of our tenants and the schemes they live in. You will have one years’ experience working within a Security/Caretaker role, one years’ relevant experience working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Be a liaison between the tenants and the Association, participating in positive promotion of the scheme.
• Monitor, report and record details of events within the schemes including anti-social behaviour, vandalism, neighbour nuisance and complaints. Contact emergency services and Housing Officer.
• Liaise with Housing staff to review with CCTV images and download where necessary in accordance with the CCTV Policy.
• Carry out inspections and safety checks at the schemes and note any defects or repair needs to the Housing Officer.
• Cover security of the schemes for the benefit of the tenants, ensuring entrances and exits to the scheme are kept closed and secure.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• One years’ experience working in a Security/Caretaker role.
• One year’s relevant experience working with customers.
• Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work a shift pattern which will include weekends.

Desirable Skills

• A valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence.
