Job description

To assist the Duty Manager with the organisation and supervision of all aspects of operational staff duties, and to ensure that the highest standards of health and safety, cleanliness and general customer care are maintained at all times. To lead the management of daily operations for the facility during the period of supervision, ensuring that all service areas meet the standards required to create and maintain a quality facility. Responsibilities

• To deputise for the Duty Manager in their absence and assist with the efficient management and control of the facility and to ensure proper and safe use of the centre by public and performers/users.
• Deputise for the Duty Manager when required, including opening and closing of the facility, acting as a key holder, and on occasion responding to emergency callouts.
• To undertake the overall supervision of staff, ensuring that appropriate levels of resources are available to fulfil the established rota, including arranging temporary cover where necessary.
• To carry out checks to ensure compliance with the Centre’s Health & Safety Policy.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above, including English and a numeric based subject And:
• Provide specific/personal examples of 1 year’s relevant experience in following: Working in customer service environment and with general public, providing high standard customer care. Supervising staff. Ability to work within team.

Desirable Skills

• 2 year’s relevant experience.
