Cemcor Limited are seeking motivated and committed candidates to join our Quarry team. Applicants must be able to work effectively as part of a highly dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Operating Fixed and Mobile plant
• General operative duties and housekeeping of processing plant and quarry
• Perform tasks as delegated whilst maintaining high standards of Health and Safety

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• CSR or equivalent in Mobile Plant, (Dump truck (40t) and Excavators 360 (20t)) etc
• Knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental issues
• The successful candidate will have a positive attitude in their approach to work.
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible approach to hours
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload

Desirable Skills

• Experience of Quarry Blasting Operations
• Working knowledge of large Quarry operations
• Experience of Crushing and other Quarry fixed plant operations
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Fixed and Mobile plant operations
• GCSE or equivalent qualification in Maths and English
• Experience in Mechanical Maintenance, preferably in the Quarry industry
• Experience of working in efficient and effective teams
• Has a clean driving licence

Further Information

Permanent Fulltime Tuesday to Saturday. 37 hours per week and a half day on a Saturday. Benefits: Competitive salary. Company Pension scheme.
