An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing company in the Kilrea area. This hands-on role is based within a fast-paced production environment, focusing on MIG welding and the fabrication of mild steel components to high quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing high-quality products, meeting production targets, and supporting continuous improvement across the production area.

Responsibilities

• Operate MIG welding equipment safely and correctly
• Weld mild steel to engineering standards and specifications
• Fit, form, and join raw materials accurately
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings
• Produce quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations
• Meet agreed production targets in line with customer demand
• Carry out agreed preventative maintenance tasks
• Identify and suggest continuous improvement opportunities

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3 years’ experience MIG welding mild steel
• Proven experience interpreting engineering drawings
• Flexible to work shift patterns
