Software Development - KTP Associate

Job description

The College is seeking applications for Software Developer to work with Glenturas Construction Ltd on a 2 year contract via a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP). This role will involve designing, developing, deploying and embedding a new digital compliance and quality management platform within Glenturas Construction Ltd. The platform will digitise and streamline the management of certifications, training records, health & safety documentation and quality assurance documentation across multiple construction sites. The Associate will deliver a secure and scalable system with integrated workflows and automation to strengthen compliance management, improve reporting and audit readiness, and support structured access to compliance records for key stakeholders. A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a three-way project between a company (in this case Glenturas Construction Ltd), an academic institute (such as NWRC) and a graduate (known as an Associate), which enables the transfer of knowledge, technology and skills to which the company currently has no access. A KTP can help graduates to enhance their career prospects by providing them with an opportunity to manage a challenging project, which allows them to use their qualification, and is central to a company’s strategic development and long-term growth. Whilst the Associate leads the KTP project, they are supported by experienced staff from the company and the College. The Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme and this project is funded by Innovate UK in partnership with Invest NI. For more information, visit http://ktp.innovateuk.org.
