Job description

The Peace of Mind Enrolment coordinator is responsible for the overall design, delivery and recording of high-quality training materials, meaningfully co-produced with young people. They will ensure that training materials, workplans and reports are completed to a high standard that showcases the voice of young people throughout. They will promote the inclusion of children and young people with disabilities, neurodiversity and lived experience of trauma throughout. The Enrolment coordinator will be initially based in Lombard House in Belfast but travel between Trust Areas will be required to support the promotion of services. The Enrolment coordinator will play a central role in registering, recording and evaluating the number of young people we work with and translating this into understandable findings for staff and partner agencies. They will ensure that resources are completed to a high standard, and accessible for events/training sessions, when necessary. You will support the Service Manager to create bespoke recruitment, induction and training packages for Youth Facilitators, researching current gaps in service provision to inform your decision making. You will support staff and young people to secure venues, facilitate training sessions in person and online, and record any evolving needs as the programme develops. You will place a vital role in the development and delivery of the Peace of Mind project, working in line with quality assurance standards and ensure the service provides a meaningful, fun, supportive and inclusive place for our young people to become motivated and reach their full potential. You will engage with Inspire’s already established Community Wellbeing Service venues as well as other accessible community, sporting and youth venues both across Northern Ireland and the border counties, supporting staff to engage over 4000 participants aged 14-25 years who self-refer or those referred from statutory services. You will be responsible for all administrative aspects of the development of i-Connect, a closed digital platform designed for young people, by young people. I-Connect will be created and developed to enhance the project experience of all participants over the age of 14 years through self-development, signposting and e-learning.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Youth Team in the provision of high-quality training materials and resources. This includes bespoke recruitment, induction and training materials for new staff members.
  • Assist in the preparation, pricing, collation and presentation of tender proposals, invoices and ordering of resources.
  • Co-ordinate operational training requirements including scheduling courses, marketing and promotion of courses.
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Youth Team and the Mental Health and Addictions Services Senior Management Team.
  • Establish and maintain systems and processes to accurately record and report on monthly, quarterly and annual activity.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business, including occasional travel to community venues across Northern Ireland and the border counties of the Republic of Ireland.
  • A full current driving licence and access to a car. Business insurance will be a requirement for this post. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling options for applicants who are disabled.
  • Minimum of 12 months’ experience in an administrative, training, youth work, or community-based role, supporting the delivery of projects or services for young people.
  • Demonstrable ability to co-ordinate events or training sessions, including booking venues, preparing materials and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and digital platforms (e.g. Zoom, Teams).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences including young people, staff and partner agencies

Further Information

Location - 10-20 Lombard Street, Belfast. Role temporary and fixed term until 31st March 2028.
