Communications, Administration and Programme Support Assistant

THE EMPLOYER IS: TULCA NI CIC The Communications, administrative and programme support assistant will support Tulca to deliver its services; community wellbeing day, programmes, trainings through administrative, social media and events support. We're seeking a values-aligned individual to assist our Operations Circle in the administration and organisation of events and programmes. They will be responsible for social media channel management, general communications (including newsletters and emails), as well as contributing to strategic discussions and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Channel management of our social media handles, including designing, composing, and scheduling posts and engaging with our community through social media.
  • Communications management of events on our website and social media.
  • Assist with logistics for events and activities.
  • Record attendance and compile evaluation summaries.
  • Providing administrative support to the director and facilitation team.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • An understanding of the values, vision and mission of Tulca.
  • Understanding of and practical experience in trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and inclusive approaches to wellbeing.
  • Prior experience in the coordination of programmes, resources and budgets.
  • Organisational, time management and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Good computer and systems literacy.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
  • Experience of the community and voluntary / mental health / peace & reconciliation sector in Belfast and the North.

The Employer is: TULCA NI CIC JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
