Job description

Seaview House is a small, private nursing home located overlooking Ballyholme Bay in Bangor, county Down. We are currently looking to recruit a chef to join our team: Monday to Friday. Rolling month to month contract.

Responsibilities

• Prepare well-balanced meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring they meet the specific dietary requirements of residents, including any allergies or restrictions.
• Cater for special occasions within the home.
• Ensure that the kitchen hygiene and safety rules are observed by all staff.
• Ensure that fridge / freezer and food temperatures are tested and recorded daily.
• Maintain the kitchen equipment as specified by respective manufacturers.
