Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: MONDAY'S CHILD JEWELLERY LTD This role is primarily focused on delivering exceptional front-of-house service and supporting daily retail operations within the store.
Responsibilities
- Sales & Customer Service - Greet and assist customers in a warm, professional manner.
- Sales & Customer Service - Provide detailed product knowledge on jewellery collections, gemstones, metals, and care instructions.
- Sales & Customer Service - Assist customers with selecting items for special occasions such as engagements, weddings, and gifts.
- Sales & Customer Service - Achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Sales & Customer Service - Handle customer inquiries, special orders, and after-sales service support.
- Sales & Customer Service - Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Cashier Duties - Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Cashier Duties - Process cash, credit/debit card, and digital payments.
- Cashier Duties - Handle refunds, exchanges, and store credits according to company policy.
- Cashier Duties - Balance the cash register and ensure accurate end-of-day reconciliation.
- Cashier Duties - Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial transactions.
- Appointment Management - Schedule and confirm customer appointments.
- Appointment Management - Coordinate with store management and jewellers regarding appointment availability.
- Appointment Management - Maintain accurate records of customer bookings and service requests.
- Stock Management - Receive, check, and record incoming stock deliveries.
- Stock Management - Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or discrepancies.
- Stock Management - Conduct regular stock counts and assist with audits.
- Stock Management - Ensure proper tagging, pricing
- Stock Management - Prepare items for display and restock showcases as needed.
- General Store Upkeep - Maintain cleanliness and presentation of display cases, counters, and store floor.
- General Store Upkeep - Ensure visual merchandising standards are upheld.
- General Store Upkeep - Assist with displays & promotional setups.
- General Store Upkeep - Ensure the store environment remains welcoming, safe, and organised at all times.
