Production Operative
Job description
Operate production machinery to manufacture concrete rings and civils products to required standards. Monitor machine performance and report any issues to the Team Leader or Supervisor. Learn and follow all production processes, systems, and safety procedures. Carry out mould changes safely and efficiently, ensuring correct setup and minimal downtime. Identify and address faults, escalating more serious issues when required. Clean machinery and equipment regularly to maintain performance. Safely move products using plant machinery such as forklifts, telehandlers, or cranes (training provided). Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. Suggest improvements to safety, processes, or efficiency as part of the Good Catch initiative. Carry out other duties as required, including Grade 1 tasks such as quality checks, strapping, and wrapping.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Medically fit to undertake the physical requirements of the job.
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate machinery safely (Training will be provided).
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience of manufacturing concrete products Previous experience operating a forklift
