Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: MCK INTERNATIONAL LTD The Warehouse Operative plays a key role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders, maintaining a tidy workspace, stock management and supporting the wider team whenever needed.

Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and care.
  • Prepare parcels for dispatch, including labelling and quality checks.
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming stock.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
  • Work closely with the team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
  • Follow company procedures to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Ensuring safe collection of orders from courier.
  • Any other duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Use of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet throughout the day.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not essential - we’re happy to train the right person.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Full Forklift licence.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of operating computerised stock system.
  • Knowledge of organising collections/deliveries.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Able to lift and move stock as required.
