Job description

The post holder will work with the Senior Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Nurses Lead IPC Nurses to deliver on the requirements of the Trust IPC strategy, with cross-site working to ensure appropriate specialist IPC cover. The Post holder is also responsible for ensuring that they practice in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the Scope of Professional Practice. Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection and contribute to the analysis of surveillance/audit data in conjunction with infection prevention & control team and clinical teams.
• Maintain accurate patient clinical records, updating specialist surveillance databases as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Have a minimum of 3 years post registration experience.
• A university degree, diploma or other Nursing/Midwifery qualification.
