Social Media Assistant
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: THE WEATHERBIES LTD We are looking for a Social Media Assistant to handle the day to day running of our social media platforms and work with our social media manager to expand the Weatherbies brand and reach throughout the globe. You will support the development and execution of our e-commerce and digital media strategies. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in e-commerce, digital marketing, and online content monetization.
Responsibilities
- Research best practices for selling online.
- Work with the Weatherbies team to build and document an e-commerce and social media strategy for The Weatherbies.
- Assist in setting up and optimizing product listings.
- Implement the plan in collaboration with the team.
- Assist the team in optimizing content for monetization.
- Document best practices and track key performance metrics.
- Regular communication with Peter and monthly reporting to the wider team.
- Support marketing analytics tools & meta data business suite.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Writing skills.
- An understanding of different social media platforms.
- Creating engaging content.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Willingness to learn tools and stay up to date with ever-changing world of social & digital media.
- Someone who is creative and adaptable.
Desirable Skills
- Able to speak Irish/Gaeilge, as we work in both English & Irish/Gaeilge mediums.
Further Information
Location: Blended - Remote with one day in office per week. The Employer is: THE WEATHERBIES LTD JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
