Fundraising Support Worker

THE EMPLOYER IS: HEAD INJURY SUPPORT The Fundraising Support Worker will support Head Injury Support in generating vital income to sustain and grow its services. The role involves assisting with fundraising events, supporting volunteers, contributing to fundraising campaigns and strategies, and helping develop new ideas to increase income. The postholder will work closely with the wider team and fundraising committee to achieve targets, engage with donors, and build fundraising partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning and organisation of fundraising events.
  • Support fundraising volunteers in delivering events and campaigns.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of fundraising strategies and initiatives.
  • Support collection can strategies and other income-generating activities.
  • Help generate new ideas to raise funds and diversify income streams.
  • Work closely with other team members and the wider fundraising committee to achieve quarterly targets.
  • Acknowledge and thank donors for their contributions.
  • Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities and outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including working with volunteers and donors.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively.
  • Creativity and initiative in contributing to fundraising ideas.
  • Basic IT skills for managing data, communications, and event support.
  • Able to work to deadlines.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in fundraising, events management, or charity sector roles.
  • Experience working with volunteers or coordinating small teams.
  • Knowledge of fundraising techniques, campaigns, and donor engagement.

The Employer is: HEAD INJURY SUPPORT JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
