Educational Support Officer
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: AN DROICHEAD The Educational support officer will work to support the Irish language development officer in the delivery of An Droichead’s Irish language classes program and wider Irish language offering, in line with An Droichead’s mission and values. All Applicants will be subject to Access NI Enhanced DBS Police Check, Social services Vetting Check and a GP Medical Check to ensure suitability for the post. Only after all of the above is satisfactory will this post be secured.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the effective organisation of Classes and educational support, including adult learning, exam delivery and homework support for primary school children.
- Support the recruitment and allocation of teachers.
- Create, manage & handle bookings via Fareharbour.
- Liaise with teaching staff and support a positive working relationship.
- Submit payment requests for teaching staff.
- Manage zoom account and allocate accounts to all teaching staff.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Have good basic Irish language speaking and understanding skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in a similar role.
