Community Gardener
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: AN DROICHEAD The Community Gardener will support the development, maintenance and the use of the community garden spaces to promote wellbeing, environmental awareness and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Planning & carrying out day to day gardening activities.
- Supporting volunteers & community participants.
- Delivering Informal learning & growing sessions.
- Support sustainable use of the garden in line with organisations requirements.
- Work with residents and partners to deliver events & programs.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Basic Knowledge and interest in gardening & horticulture.
- Good Communication & organisational Skills.
- Physical stamina & safety awareness.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in a community garden.
