THE EMPLOYER IS: AN DROICHEAD The Community Gardener will support the development, maintenance and the use of the community garden spaces to promote wellbeing, environmental awareness and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Planning & carrying out day to day gardening activities.
• Supporting volunteers & community participants.
• Delivering Informal learning & growing sessions.
• Support sustainable use of the garden in line with organisations requirements.
• Work with residents and partners to deliver events & programs.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Basic knowledge and interest in gardening & horticulture.
• Good communication & organisational skills.
• Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job & safety awareness.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working in a community garden.

The Employer is: AN DROICHEAD JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
