Job description
Fieldfisher is a European law firm with market leading practices in technology, financial services, energy and natural resources, and life sciences. The Finance department looks after all aspects of the Firm’s accounts and finances. This includes the firm’s practice management system, billing, credit control, disbursements, accounts payable, expenses, client and office bank accounts, weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc management reporting, profitability models, and external reporting. This role would appeal to someone who has a keen interest in learning the various operational roles of a large finance function, with a view to a future career in accounting and finance. You will learn the importance of working capital to a business and how it is managed, alongside how the department interacts with its stakeholders through reporting and business partnering. The successful candidate will be well supported by experienced mentors through our Early Careers and People Development teams.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English, IT and Maths grades 9-6 (A-C)
