Scouting Support Officer (Engagement)
Job description
To support local Scouting by working to remove the barriers to participation, driving the delivery of quality programme events, while ensuring it is engaging, youth led and driven by assessed need.
Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with the Strategy and Delivery Sub-Committee identify, create and design a new quality improvement tool to ensure the Scouting programme is engaging, inclusive and delivers tangible life skills.
- Work in collaboration with the Programme Team to support the delivery of programme events, such as Badge Days, to enable under-resourced groups achieve top-level awards.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 5 GCSEs A-C, including English Language and Maths (or equivalent).
Desirable Skills
- Third level qualification.
