AI Digital Content Editor

Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: YELLOW DESIGN (YELLOW BRANDING & DIGITAL MEDIA LTD) The AI Digital Content Editor role offers an exciting opportunity for an emerging creative technologist to gain hands-on experience working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, storytelling, and digital media production. The successful candidate will join a collaborative studio environment producing innovative promotional and marketing content for tourism destinations, visitor attractions, and experiential campaigns. Working from a dedicated Apple Mac workstation and using professional Adobe Creative Cloud software, the placement participant will explore and operate leading generative AI tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Veo, Nano Banana, and other emerging platforms. The role involves transforming storyboard concepts and creative briefs into AI-generated imagery, motion content, and short-form promotional video assets. The role is designed to develop real-world production skills while encouraging creative experimentation with AI-driven workflows. The candidate will contribute to visual research, concept development, prompt-based generation, and the refinement of digital outputs used in commercial campaigns and client presentations. Through the role, the participant will develop a strong understanding of AI-enabled content pipelines, generative video production, and professional studio workflows, building a portfolio that demonstrates practical experience in next-generation creative media production.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the generation and refinement of AI-powered visual and video content.
  • Interpret storyboards and creative briefs and translate them into generated imagery, animations, and short video sequences using leading generative AI tools.
  • Experimenting with different visual styles and generation techniques, and iterating outputs to achieve the desired creative direction.
  • Providing assistance organising generated assets, maintaining prompt libraries, and documenting successful generation approaches to support future production efficiency.
  • Integrating AI-generated assets into Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop to assist with editing, compositing, and final visual preparation.
  • Assisting to contribute to mood boards, visual research packs, and early-stage concept explorations used in campaign development and client presentations.
  • Participate in studio production meetings.
  • Manage assigned creative tasks within agreed timelines.
  • Collaborate with the wider digital content team to deliver high-quality outputs for real client projects.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Possess a basic understanding of digital media workflows, including familiarity with image editing, video editing, or motion graphics processes, ideally using Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or After Effects.
  • A foundational awareness of generative AI tools and prompt-based creative workflows.
  • Evidence of experimentation with at least one AI content generation platform, such as image generation or AI-assisted video tools, and demonstrate an interest in learning new systems quickly.
  • Strong visual awareness is important, including an understanding of composition, colour, framing, and storytelling principles.
  • Be capable of interpreting a storyboard or creative brief and translating this into relevant visual outputs using AI-assisted workflows.
  • Good organisational skills, including the ability to manage digital files, maintain structured asset folders, and track iterative versions of generated content.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, a willingness to collaborate within a studio team, and a proactive learning mindset suited to rapidly evolving creative technology environments.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working on creative content projects, particularly short-form video production, promotional media, or social media campaigns, would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with multiple generative AI platforms such as Midjourney, Runway, Veo, Stable Diffusion environments, or similar experimental creative tools would strengthen an application.
  • Basic motion graphics or animation skills, particularly within Adobe After Effects, would be beneficial for integrating AI-generated visual assets into moving sequences.
  • Knowledge of compositing, colour grading, or visual effects workflows would further enhance the candidate’s ability to support production teams.
  • Experience creating mood boards, concept art, or visual research materials for creative projects would also be desirable, as the role involves supporting early-stage concept development and creative ideation.
  • Applicants who maintain a portfolio, online showcase, or experimental AI media work demonstrating their creative exploration will be particularly competitive.
  • An interest in tourism marketing, destination storytelling, immersive media, or visitor experience content would be beneficial, as many projects focus on place-based storytelling.
  • Curiosity about emerging creative technologies and a willingness to test new AI tools will help candidates gain maximum value from the placement experience.
  • A strong interest in creative media production, emerging technologies, and AI-driven storytelling.
