Premises Officer (SO) Portal Operations
Job description
Ensuring the maintenance of fixtures and equipment including the coordination, management and monitoring of site management contracts, carrying out site inspections and the production of site risk assessment reports. Ensuring that all reactive (defects) and annual planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule for all site accommodation has taken place. Responsibilities
- Ensuring the maintenance of fixtures and equipment including the coordination, management and monitoring of site management contracts, carrying out site inspections and the production of site risk assessment reports.
- Ensuring that all reactive (defects) and annual planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule for all site accommodation has taken place.
- Ensuring that statutory compliance maintenance and associated remedials - full site wide and includes inspections of the quality and completeness of works.
- The management, supervision, training and preparation of work duties for Deputy Premises Officer
- such as attendance and performance management including updating the HRConnect system, ensuring discipline and time-keeping,
- providing leadership to staff through team meetings and communication, identifying development needs of staff and encouraging development opportunities, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Applicants must, by the closing date for applications: Have a minimum of 2 years’ demonstrable experience of effective leadership and communication, setting and prioritising goals to meet organisational business objectives.
- AND Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing the delivery of a quality service including identifying and implementing improvements to meet the requirements of a diverse range of customers.
- AND Have 18 months experience working in a relevant premises management role.
- AND Hold an Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) certificate or be willing to obtain one within 6 months of appointment.
- Applications will also be considered from applicants with relevant formal qualifications considered by the selection panel to be of an equivalent or higher standard to those stated.
