Operations Assistant
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: CREWE UNITED FOOTBALL & SOCIAL CLUB The Operations Assistant is responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards and ensuring the upkeep of facilities at the club. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the post holder will carry out cleaning duties and assist with maintenance as directed. This role is based at Crewe United Football Club, Glenavy. Additional hours may be available during busy periods and events.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties inside and outside the facility, including changing rooms, toilets, corridors, and communal areas.
- Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
- Assist service users, clubs, and visitors as required, providing a friendly and helpful point of contact.
- Support opening and closing procedures when required.
- Monitor facilities and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Assist with basic set-up and pack-down for bookings, events, or activities.
- Follow all health, safety, and safeguarding procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in a cleaning, facilities, or customer-facing role.
- Knowledge of basic health and safety practices.
- Experience working in a community or sports environment.
