Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: ACE EXECUTIVE LTD To assist qualified joiners in the manufacture, installation and repair of wooden structures and fittings while developing practical skills and knowledge in carpentry and joinery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in measuring, cutting, shaping and assembling wood and other materials.
• Support the installation of doors, cabinets, flooring and other fixtures.
• Operate hand tools and basic power tools under supervision.
• Read and interpret simple drawings.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all the time.
• Learn trade skills through on the job training and formal apprenticeship training.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Genuine interest in carpentry and construction.
• Good practical skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Desirable Skills

• Basic understanding of hand tools.
