Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Joiner/Mould Maker to join our client’s Joinery Team, based in Ballymena. The primary purpose of this role is to work collaboratively within the team to manufacture timber moulds in line with company standards, production targets, and daily operational plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality moulds, carrying out assigned tasks efficiently and accurately, and ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and Quality standards at all times.
Responsibilities
- Adhering to the daily production plan e.g., manufacturing timber moulds, carrying out tasks effectively.
- Operate as part of a team in the production of moulds in accordance with the Company standards and targets.
- Any other duties within reason and capability, as agreed through consultation with the Agriculture Sales Manager.
- Working to all Health, Safety and Quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Joinery Qualification / Previous experience of working within a Joinery/mould-making team to achieve set targets, preparing moulds using correct materials to specification, tasks being carried out efficiently.
- Knowledge of H&S rule and procedures, experience of adhering to these. Health and Safety qualification would be beneficial e.g., CSR.
- Knowledge of quality standards and experience of applying these. Ability to read technical drawings is essential.
- Clear communication skills as part of a team, discussing matters and reporting matters to the Line Manager when necessary.
