Foyle Hospice have immediate vacancies for Bank Staff Nurse (Band 5, Agenda for Change pay scale). We currently require bank staff nurse band 5 to cover shifts as required. We are seeking enthusiastic and committed registered nurses for the above bank position. The nurses we are seeking should have a minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience, be flexible, good team members, and have excellent communication skills. They should be interested in the challenging but rewarding field of specialist palliative care. Applicants must be on the NMC live register, Level 1 (Adult), and have an up-to-date NMC revalidation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all relevant forms of nursing care without direct supervision and may be required to demonstrate procedures to and supervise qualified and/or unqualified staff.
• Ensure compliance with all infection control policies and guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Registered Nurse Level 1 (Adult) on NMC Register.
• Minimum 2 years' of post-registration experience or completed a back nursing course.
