Foyle Hospice have immediate vacancies for a Bank Nursing Assistant (Band 2, Agenda for Change pay scale). We currently require bank Nursing Assistants’ band 2, to cover shifts as required. We are seeking enthusiastic and committed Nursing Assistants for the above bank position. Applicants will have a minimum of one year’s experience working in a health care setting. Staff will be expected to work in any of the following areas: Inpatient Unit, Day Hospice and Integrative Care Clinic. Working hours include day and night duty shifts.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be working as a valuable member of the Foyle Hospice multi-disciplinary team in providing care to patients in either the In-patient Unit or the Day Hospice.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Applicants will have a minimum of one year’s experience working in a health care setting.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working in Palliative/End of Life Care. Completed NVQ level 3 in Care or equivalent.
