Seaview House Private Nursing Home is a private nursing home located overlooking Ballyholme Bay. We are registered for 22 residents. We are looking for a chef to join our small friendly team. Candidate must be flexible and have previous relevant experience. Role requires working 2 to 3 days over 7-day period and holiday cover.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking and serving freshly prepared meals.
• Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen areas.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Policies and COSHH Regulations.
• Ensure food temperatures are accurately taken and recorded.
• Be aware of dietary requirements of residents- SALT guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• NVQ 1 / 2 or equivalent.
• Food hygiene certificate or equivalent.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in similar setting.
