THE EMPLOYER IS: BESPOKE CANDLES LTD We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our candle factory. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and enjoys contributing to a small, creative team. This role is crucial in keeping our office running smoothly and supporting both our production and administrative functions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and organising documents.
  • Answer phone calls and emails, providing professional and courteous support to customers and vendors.
  • Assist with inventory tracking and ordering office and production supplies.
  • Support the production team with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate scheduling, appointments, and internal communications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Desirable Skills

  • Customer service experience.
  • Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge.
  • Familiarity with social media or marketing support.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude.
