Screenspares Direct is recruiting a Production Operative to join our Conveyor Belt Workshop team in Coalisland. This is a hands-on role primarily operating presses used in the production of endless conveyor belts. You will support the production team to ensure belts are completed safely, efficiently and to company quality standards. There is opportunity to learn different aspects of endless belt production, with progression into belt splicing for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Operating belt presses in line with production schedules
• Monitoring press times, temperatures and production cycles
• Loading and unloading belts safely
• Carrying out quality checks on finished belts
• Occasional site work when required

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Practical and hands-on experience
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable completing basic paperwork
• Flexible approach to workshop and occasional site work
• Physically able for heavy lifting aspects of the role.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in a similar production, workshop or manufacturing role
