THE EMPLOYER IS: WOODARCH JOINERY LTD We’re a leading joinery manufacturing company specialising in high-end bespoke interiors, kitchens, and commercial joinery projects. With a reputation for craftsmanship and quality, we’re expanding our team and looking for a CAD designer/CAD draftsman to join our growing operation. You’ll play a key role in managing cost estimation for our joinery projects by drawing sketches onto autocad. Working closely with our design and production teams, you’ll ensure accuracy, efficiency, and value at every stage as they will be able to, more efficiently, create a working list from your drawings. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician with formal training in AutoCAD to join our team. Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers/architects.
• Interpret sketches, specifications, and design briefs.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Liaise with production and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Formal training or certification in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and organised with a proactive approach.

Desirable Skills

• Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman / CAD Technician (preferred).
• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 1 years’ experience desirable.
• Experience in joinery or carpentry desirable but not essential.

The Employer is: WOODARCH JOINERY LTD JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information. Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
