Due to the continued success and expansion of the business we are looking for an Electrical Testing and Inspection Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Contract Manager the Electrical Testing and Inspection Engineer will be responsible for undertaking various electrical tasks including inspection & testing and condition reporting for new installation work, minor works projects, refurbishment works and planned maintenance tasks in order to achieve a high level of service delivery. Responsibilities
- Participate as a team member on large-scale electrical installation projects or operate independently on smaller-scale works.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner during client meetings and site visits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current IET Wiring Regulations and identify non-compliant fixed wiring installations.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- C&G Level 3 2357 or equivalent, having completed a relevant apprenticeship within your trade.
- AM2.
- City and Guilds 2394/2395 (2391) Level 3 qualification.
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience as an electrical testing engineer (Condition reporting).
Desirable Skills
- City and Guilds Electrical Equipment Maintenance and Testing (2377).
- Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card.
