Job description

We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Team Leaders to join our packing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about food manufacturing and eager to lead and develop a team to consistently achieve high standards. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the daily performance of your team, ensuring that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in line with quality and food safety standards. You will also be on the line to carry out day to day packing tasks, including sleeving, metal detection and boxing of products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the production line team
• Follow packing schedules and working orders correctly
• Sleeving of products
• work effectively as part of a team to meet targets
• Ensure accurate completion of all paperwork
• Maintain cleanliness of work stations and follow hygiene schedules
• Metal detection of products

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Possessing strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team
• Well-organised with good attention to detail
• Having good understanding of health and safety and hygiene principles
• Ability to follow instructions
• Excellent level of written and spoken English for health and safety purposes

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in food production environment preferred but not essential
