Job description

A Despatch/Intake Operative is part of the team, which is responsible for efficiently managing all stock including raw materials, packaging, finished product and for completion of all relevant documentation.

Responsibilities

• Organising stock so it is easily accessible and identified.
• Ensuring an efficient, tidy, clean and safe working environment in all areas.
• Picking orders and building pallets as per customer orders.
• Completion of all relevant paperwork.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good communication skills.
• Good understanding of health & Safety in the workplace.
• Basic numeracy skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Desirable Skills

• Forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role.

Further Information

Excellent level of written and spoken English in order to follow instructions safely and carry out the role effectively.
