Job description

We are looking for an additional person (female) to help support our Mum and Dad to continue living happily in their own home. Up to 36 hours are available weekly and working hours are flexible depending on availability of candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the primary carer/family member with washing and dressing Mum in the mornings before she goes to Day Centre and at bedtime.
• Preparation of basic meals.
• Making sure that Mum and Dad are safe and well cared for.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience is preferred but training will be provided for basic tasks.

Desirable Skills

• Excellent communication skills, kind, reliable and conscientious.

Further Information

Hours can be any or a combination of the following: Mornings: 08:30-10:30am (Mon-Fri); 08:30-1:30pm (Sat-Sun) Evenings: 5:00/5:30-9:00pm Overnights: 9:00pm-9:00am If you don't have a CV currently, then please apply to: sasamc@yahoo.com for a short application form instead.
