Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: MULTI-ETHNIC SPORTS AND CULTURES NI(MSCNI) This supported JobStart role provides entry-level experience in office administration and programme support within a community organisation. The role supports development of organisation, IT, communication, and professional workplace skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support filing, data entry, and document organisation.
  • Assist with attendance tracking and basic spreadsheets.
  • Support preparation of forms, reports, and programme records.
  • Assist with email and telephone communication.
  • Support staff with programme administration tasks.
  • Learn confidentiality and data protection procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Basic IT skills (email, Word, spreadsheets).
  • Willingness to learn administrative procedures.
  • Good communication skills to work with, and support people from diverse backgrounds, including host community members, ethnic minority communities, asylum seekers, and refugees.

Desirable Skills

  • Interest in administration or office work.
  • Maths or ICT qualification (desirable, not essential).
