To run a pre-school playgroup with children aged 2 years 10 months to 4 years. Full job description with application form.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for running a pre-school playgroup for children aged 2 years 10 months up to 4 years.
• Follow the pre-school curriculum and all policies and procedures.
• Lead and supervise a team of playgroup assistants.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience working with children, ideally in nursery or pre-school environments.

Desirable Skills

• Art and craft skills.

Further Information

Qualifications - BA Hons Degree in Early Childhood Studies, or Degree level qualification in Early Years’, or a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Child Care, Learning and Development or Playwork; or a relevant occupational qualification in early years’ education, social work, nursing, teaching or health visiting obtained by end of June 2026. Start date of job will be September 2026. Competitive rate of pay for suitable candidate and pay spread over the 12 months of the year.
