Job description

Our client is seeking Machine Operatives to join their team based in Lurgan. Bending and cutting metal components to desired specification.

Responsibilities

• Bending and cutting metal components to desired specification
• Working with mild steel
• Welding components together
• Using overhead cranes to move items
• Use of power and handheld tools
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Adhere to all HS policies.
• General housekeeping

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Production, manufacturing or engineering experience required
• Use of overhead cranes, power and hand tools
• Must have the willingness to learn and develop
• Must have access to/own transport
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team

Desirable Skills

• Previous tack welding experience would be an advantage
