Job description

The College is seeking applications to join our Casual Worker Register for work relating to Examination Invigilators, whose overall purpose will be to invigilate examinations offered by the College. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with examination regulations and ensure that awarding bodies’ regulations are adhered to during examinations
• Check the identity of candidates entered for examinations
• Inform students of relevant instructions, notices and procedures and ensure that candidates adhere to the regulations
• Distribute examination papers and stationery
• Mark examination attendance registers and note seating arrangements

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Have at least a Level 3 qualification in any discipline
• Have GCSE English (Grades C or higher) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Communication, or any qualifications which are deemed to be equivalent
• Have GCSE Maths (Grades C or higher) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Numeracy, or NICATS Access Maths Modules, or any qualifications which are deemed to be equivalent

Desirable Skills

• Have experience of teaching, delivering training or administering tests
