Nicholl Fuel Oils Group is the largest independent oil distributor in Northern Ireland, operating from multiple offices, depots in multiple locations. We are looking for a dynamic and driven Marketing Specialist to join our team and strengthen the Nicholl Fuel Oils presence across a range of platforms. In this role, you will lead our marketing efforts, analysing performance trends, and developing effective strategies to engage customers and support continued business growth.
Responsibilities
- Websites: Internal content creation, copywriting SEO-friendly content, blogs, images etc.; Use Content Management System to update the websites; SEO updates and liaison with web developers regarding website changes; Internal management.
- Data-driven Insights: Regular assessment of the company’s social media strategy, delivering timely reports to senior management providing key insights and recommendation in alignment with the long-term marketing strategy.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with the latest digital advertising trends, current marketing legislation services and techniques using SEO monitoring.
- Campaign Management: Enhance brand visibility and engagement by monitoring campaign success
- ROI Measurement: Set measurable goals and timeframes, track performance that demonstrates the impact of our Marketing efforts against Return on Investment (ROI).
- Customer Interaction: Monitor and analyse competitor social media strategies, identifying opportunities for differentiation and innovation
- Live Events: Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network, driving audience participation and engagement e.g., live events.
- Marketing / Sponsorship Events: Plan and coordinate all aspects of marketing / sponsorship events including branding, catering, venue, entertainment and logistics.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and train team members to become brand ambassadors across various social media platforms e.g., LinkedIn.
- Strategic Social Media Development: Devise and execute comprehensive social media strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness and promoting customer engagement
- Social media Advertising: Plan, execute and optimize social media advertising campaigns to target specific customer types and maximise customer engagement.
- Content Calendar Management: Maintain a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns to ensure a consistent and timely online presence in all areas of the business relevant to the customer and the time of year.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree and Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful social media and traditional marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in using Canva or a similar platform.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in utilising social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
- Creative thinking and a keen eye of design aesthetics.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in measuring and showcasing ROI for digital marketing campaigns.
- Experience in advertising in B2B and Consumer markets.
- Ability to stay ahead of industry trends and evolving digital technologies.
