Employee Relations Specialist
Job description
You will be the central point of contact for all Employee Relations activity across sites in Northern Ireland and Ireland, ensuring consistent, fair, and high-quality Employee Relations support. Your work will directly shape how managers lead and how the culture within the organisation continues to evolve.
Responsibilities
- Managing all ER enquiries and cases across multiple manufacturing sites, providing timely, practical, and compliant guidance.
- Advising managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence matters, ensuring best practice and legal compliance.
- Documenting and enhancing ER policies, ensuring they are clear, accessible, and aligned with legislation.
- Building manager toolkits and resources that strengthen capability and support confident, consistent decision-making.
- Capturing and standardising best practices across sites to drive alignment and continuous improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Strong HRBP or Employee Relations experience, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or fast-paced operational environments.
- Knowledge of employment legislation in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
- A confident, pragmatic approach to case management and manager coaching.
- Excellent judgement, communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels.
