Job description

Due to increased demand, Silver Cloud Care NI is recruiting Care Assistants in Armagh Area. We are looking for kind and caring individuals to provide care and support to vulnerable adults in their own home. We offer, immediate interviews, competitive rate of pay, flexible working hours, minimum call time 1 hour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Support independence with dignity and respect & Meal preparation.
• Provide much needed company and and engaging conversation.
• Light household duties.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Listening skills.
• Driver with access to own car.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (not essential as full training will be provided).
• A caring and friendly nature.
• A non judgemental approach to care.
• Patience (you may have to listen to the same story numerous times).
• Good conversation.
