THE EMPLOYER IS: P.O.S ELECTRICAL SUPPLIES The Electrical Wholesale Assistant role will support the day-to-day operations of the wholesale branch by assisting customers, processing orders, managing stock, and ensuring a high level of service to trade and retail clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and an interest in electrical products and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Serve both public and trade customers, providing technical advice on electrical products, lighting fixtures, and cables.
• Generate sales quotations, process orders, and handle cash/trade account transactions.
• Unload supplier deliveries, check goods, organise stock on shelves, and assist with inventory control.
• Maintain a tidy trade counter and warehouse environment.
• Pick and pack orders for collection or delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in wholesale, retail, or customer service.
• Knowledge of electrical products or willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good numeracy and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills

• Full clean driving license.
• Experience in electrical wholesaling or trade counter environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical terminology.

The Employer is: P.O.S ELECTRICAL SUPPLIES JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information. Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
